We're excited to announce that we have undertaken a ground-breaking venture into offering a state-of-the-art new process for balancing the brain and facilitating self-healing, Brainwave Optimization. Being able to offer this modality for healing advances our capacity to help more people at a deeper level than ever before. Brain Balance and Harmony is that aspect of our practice offering this powerful new modality.
I learned about this process from a friend of my sister whom I met in Taos, NM. When I asked about her story, she said “Up until two years ago there wasn’t a day I woke up that I didn’t want to kill myself.” She shared being manic-depressive and having gone through years of huge manic episodes where she would do amazing things and lose 100 lbs and then crash, becoming deeply depressed and attempting suicide, ending up in the hospital and on heavy meds. Then she’d put 150 lbs back on and get discouraged and go off her meds and the cycle would start all over again. She said, “I can’t figure out why I’m not dead. I certainly made serious attempts at least 8 times in my life.” Then she told me of having gone through what she called “brain training” and how since that time she’d been stable and had kept off 100 lbs and was off almost all her meds. That really got my attention because I work with so many people who struggle to be able to maintain emotional balance with this kind of brain imbalance.
I began researching the process, developed by Brain State Technologies, in Scottsdale Arizona and after a year of arguing with myself about whether it made sense for me to undertake such a huge commitment and expense with a practice that was already full--and undergoing it myself along with 3 friends--I determined that I had to do it. I was especially convinced after reviewing the research being done at Wake Forest Medical School and the evidence of medical--as well as psychological--benefits from the process. (The medical terminology for the procedure is HIRREMTM or High-resolution, relational, resonance-based, electroencephalic mirroring). Please, check it out for yourself at:
New testimonial--Thanksgiving week, 2016
The results of my 4 day session with Pam are beyond my wildest dreams. For the first time since 2002, my arm/ hand doesn't sense a tremor. This is earth shattering to me. Strangely, it feels like it is kinda lost. Working fine, but I've spent so much energy over the years trying to control it, seems like it wants to do something. My husband noticed a significant change in my facial expressions and eyes on Saturday. He had never seen me look so calm. I'm not sure I ever have been. I look forward to the coming months which I hope to journal and share with you and Pam....A time of year to be thankful and this year I have so much more. I look forward to continuing the healing process. Wow, just Wow!
This brief video journal of a college football player who suffered severe concussion and went through Brainwave Optimization is very powerful! We see these kinds of dramatic effects so often when there has been any brain trauma in one's history. Click here
